Summer 2024: CBI Staff Updates

CBI is proud to share our latest staff updates. Since our last issue, we’ve welcomed five new members to the CBI team:

Amber Johnson has joined CBI as a Junior Accountant. She has over six years of experience in non-profit contexts, with work that has included mentoring employees, preparing financial statements, and completing closings. Read more about Amber here. 

Charlotte Goodman has joined CBI as a Project Support Specialist. Prior to joining CBI,Charlotte interned for the City of Boston’s Office for Language and Communications Access, where she provided support for the training of city staff in working with language access services. Deeqa Mohamed has joined CBI as an Associate. She has a background in global and public health, and she brings with her six years of combined research, program evaluation, and writing experience. Read more about Deeqa here. 

Meira Downie has joined CBI as a Junior Associate. She has worked as a mediator in public schools in Somerville, MA, and she holds a B.A. in American Studies from Tufts University. Read about Meira here.

Christine Settles has recently joined CBI as our new Contract Manager. She brings significant accounting experience, including working with federal contracts.
