From June through December 2017, CBI helped the Colombian Regional Center for Business and Responsibility (CREER) to design a participatory evaluation and dispute resolution design roadmap to enhance dialogue and problem-solving approaches between companies and communities in the Cesar coal mining region of north central Colombia.  We were also able to help CREER to strengthen relationships with key actors in Bogota, including leading extractive companies, the Defensoria del Pueblo, the Colombian government, as well as international cooperants.

Ultimately CBI’s practical and applied frameworks are helping CREER to strengthen its research outputs, as well as its facilitative leadership in Colombia's critical post-peace accord context.

CREER and CBI are now working to develop a short film describing this unique endeavor.
