CBI, working with National Charrette Institute (NCI), to assess opportunities for regional visioning for Lakewood, NJ

In the midst of rapid growth and substantial demographic change, a local coalition in the township of Lakewood, NJ reached out to CBI for assistance, as the publication App.com reports. To understand the challenges facing the fast-growing municipality, CBI Senior Mediator Stacie Smith will work with the National Charrette Institute to interview a wide range of community members before bringing them together for face-to-face conversation to design a process for regional action planning. In addition to developing concrete solutions to issues the community identifies, the effort aims to build relationships and bridge divides among groups.
