CBI conducted interviews and assisted with production of ‘Putting Ourselves in Their Shoes: The Dialogue Table of Tintaya’, produced by the Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. This documentary explores the creation of a dialogue roundtable to resolve longstanding disputes between a community and a copper mining company in Peru’s Andean highlands — over expropriated land, environment issues, development challenges, and allegation of human rights abuses. It conveys setbacks for both the community and company in the process, and the ultimate achievement of meaningful and sustainable outcomes.
