Pedro Limeira

Pedro Limeira believes that by improving the quality of our conversations, we will have fairer and more sustainable collective actions and results. Born in Brazil, Pedro works as a participatory processes facilitator, stakeholder engagement consultant, conflict mediator, and facilitation trainer.

He has been facilitating collaboration in matters such as sustainable land use, public education, and responsible mining in diverse ways, such as designing and facilitating public consultations in public policy planning; planning and defining collaborative governance for civil society coalitions; and mediating conflicts between communities and companies.

He holds a degree in Economics from the Getulio Vargas Foundation in São Paulo and started his career in management consulting. He is certified as an ontological coach by the Newfield Network Chile and has diverse specializations in multi-stakeholder negotiation, mediation, and conflict transformation, such as the Diplomado en Negociación Empresa-Estado-Comunidad en la Universidad Iberoamericana de la Ciudad de Mexico. He is also a member of communities of practice such as the Consensus Building Institute's Global Network and the Art of Hosting.
